The calm AFTER the storm

What once was two hurricanes heading our way slowly weakened into tropical storms and dissipating. While many embraced for the storms, which resulted in power loss for some and downed trees and flooding, for the most part everyone seems to be safe. There was price gouging and crazy lines to prepare for the storms. And now it seems, everything is mostly back to normal.

Now that my life seems back to normal, aside from the kindergarten camp craziness for my son, I’d like to refocus on the everyday needs and paying my bills. Luckily I got paid last Friday as well, so I can pay some credit cards.

The extent of my spending after the storm is for daily needs like underwear and cleaning supplies. It feels great to be less worried about the weather and spending more time reading and fellowship. THIS is MY calm after the storm!
